What we collect, and what we never do with it.

This page covers the lgfuture.nz website, run by LG Future, the local government practice of Capability Group, Added Insight and LSI Consulting. We collect as little as we can, we say what we do with it, and we follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

When you fill in a form

If you use the contact form, request a resource, or ask to be kept posted, we collect what you type: your name, work email, organisation and message. We use it to reply and for nothing else. It is stored securely, emailed to contact@lgfuture.nz, and never sold, shared or added to a mailing list you did not ask for.

How we count visits

We run our own small, private counter instead of a third-party analytics product. It records which pages are viewed, which buttons and downloads are used, the referring website, your country, and a rough screen size. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address or browser details, and cannot follow you from one day to the next or across other websites. Visitor counts reset daily by design.

Asking about your information

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, any time. Email contact@lgfuture.nz and a person will sort it.
